Description
Here's the first one of my Elvis 78s up for Auction : it's the Weekend Mail Presents " The Truth About Me " - Elvis speaking to his fans about his stardom and life in early 1957.
The one-sided 78 itself comes with its original mailer ( dated 12th July 1957 - see photos ) and plays through fine with NO jumps or sticks and just a little background noise, barely noticeable.
The record has a few pencil scribbles on the label - not too intrusive, plus a really nasty looking mark or scratch on the left side of the record - however, you cannot feel it and it doesn't have any effect on playing the record itself - just mentioning for honesty's sake.
