Elvis Presley The Truth About Me 6" Single 1957, this record was purchased new in 1957 from the Weekend Mail. The last time I remember my parents playing this was about 40 years ago after this they got rid of their record player, the record is only recorded on the 1 side I cannot remember the content but I believe there was a bit of Elvis talking and a song or 2, there are some light scratches on the recorded side but I don't think they are deep enough to interfere with playing. There are some worse marks on the reverse but there is no recording on that side so will not affect playing.
I believe it is recorded at 78 RPM but I could be wrong.
The sleeve is the original that it was mailed out in and has the date 5 Apr 57 on it, I was tempted to remove the address label but as the family no longer lives at that address and it would ruin the date stamp I have decided to leave it on.
