CONDITION DETAILS 20 Page Photo Book Inside. Unopened/new vinyl, factory sealed, and in excellent condition. Sticker with numbers and surface impressions near bottom-left on front where section of shrink is missing. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Elvis came to the Louisiana Hayride a shaken, uncertain dispirited boy. His dream of becoming a singer had been dashed by the prestigious "Grand Ole Opry" in his hometown. They had told him to go back to truck driving; that he would never make it as a singer. The Hayride, however, saw him a raw, even savage talent...and we heard a new sound...not necessarily a country soundm but one that we felt the world should hear and the people should judge. This album contains the golden hours of his life and these are the ones we want to remember. The Louisiana Hayride is proud to have introduced him to the world.
