ELVIS PRESLEY - “ELVIS SINGS THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CHRISTMAS” (LSP-4579), A FIRST PRESSING, IN SHRINK WITH THE RARE SHRINK STICKER ANNOUNCING THE BONUS CHRISTMAS CARD! RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with beautiful glossy surfaces! There is, however, a series of light scratches on Side 2 that are non-intrusive and should not have any effect on the audible performance. The Orange Labels on this Rockaway pressing are simply gorgeous, NM! This Christmas album was released in October of 1971 and includes the hit single, "Merry Christmas Baby / O Come All Ye Faithful". The matrix numbers on this record end with 4S/4S. COVER: VG+ with approximately 98% of the original shrink wrap present! There are tears at the corners of the shrink wrap, exposing the corner tips to the wear that we see here. A tiny piece of shrink had torn away at the open end on the back side to the lower left corner. There are no splits, writing, ape or staple holes anywhere on this cover. There is also no ring wear to speak of! The Red Shrink Sticker announcing the Bonus "Christmas Card" inside is a bit faded and there is a hard wrinkle in it to the lower right portion (please see all photos!). There are two store price stickers overlapping the Shrink Sticker. It is possible to remove these with steam, if so desired. This is a highly presentable, fully original cover to add to any collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia!
BONUS "CHRISTMAS CARD": Missing from this album. INNER SLEEVE: The original "ELVIS' Camden Catalog / "ELVIS' Reel Tapes" (57) sleeve from the era.
