Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1966 single Spinout / All That I am released in the USA.
The record itself (47-9115 ) is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
There are a few visible marks/scratches (nothing too deep though)
The labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $40-45 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD for the sleeve alone.
This RARER sleeve has a few flaws which stop this grading higher.
The things that stop this from grading higher is some discolouration/ringwear, erased pencil writing, some slight damage from where a staple has been removed and a partial seam split at the side and bottom(see photos)
There is also a small numbered sticker on one side.
That all said this is a nice collection filler until that mint sleeve comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to help try and prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
THIS IS THE 2ND ISSUED AND RARER SLEEVE ADVERTIZING "ASK FOR " SPINOUT LP (rather than the earlier alternative sleeve stating "WATCH FOR")
This one does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $55(£35 approx) . I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £38.
