Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1966 single Spinout / All That I am released in the USA.
The record itself (47-9115 ) is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are a few marks/scratches (nothing too deep or drastic though) and a small chip on the trail in on outer edge on one side but will not affect playback.
The labels have NO WRITING (see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $45 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition for the sleeve alone.(see photos)
There are no major flaws but there are a few things which stop this from grading higher.
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear/creases, partial seam splits and a few small rips. ( hence the lower starting price)
This has the added charm of having the original shop price stamped on one side and On the plus side there is NO WRITING!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
THIS IS THE 2nd ISSUED SLEEVE ADVERTIZING " ASK FOR " SPINOUT LP (rather than the earlier alternative sleeve stating " COMING SOON ")
This one does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $45 (£36 approx.)
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £38.
