Crisp, intact spine and edges, (A couple small nicks in one edge of front cover, and a minimal tear at spine edge of back cover) Small water stain on front cover. No writing or stickers. See pictures, you will not be disappointed!!
These promotional triple SPD-23 EP's were only given to customers who bought a RCA VICTOR Victrola record player back in ’56 and was not available for purchase independently. The SPD-23 records pop up on ebay from time to time. But, it’s this SPD-23 EP cardboard cover that is really rare, they just didn’t survive.
If you’re looking for a rare piece of music history here it is, or just to say you have one…Here’s your chance!! (book value $2,500.00 just for the cover alone in mint, and another $2500 for the EP's in mint so this is still a great deal given the VG condition) I’ve included pics of this album in similar condition which has sold for over $1500 over the past few years.
They play nicely for their age, no skips or loud pops that I have heard. There is minimal to moderate surface noise, which is to be expected given the age, and will probably clear up quite a bit with a good cleaning. There are no cracks or warps at all.
I have been told by a couple people who deal in records not to take less than $2500 for them, but I am willing to, so that there is some resale value, if that is your interest.The songs on the discs are as follows:
