Various Artists: Top Pops # 104
AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio & Television Service) RL-16-5, 1965

Vietnam War era radio program for the exclusive entertainment of deployed GI's. Approved and manufactured by the Department of Defense.
The estimated initial press run for this sort of release is approximately 100-200 copies, give or take ... and many don't remain. Super rare these days.

And as you can see below, the musical entertainment ran the gamut from rock to soul to Motown to jazz, and even some country music for the southern soldiers.

Brings to mind Good Morning, Vietnam. You can very easily imagine Robin Williams doing his schizophrenic impersonations between these tracks. It would totally fit.

No Cover. In gov't issue manilla paper sleeve. DJ notes written on the inner labels. See photos.
Vinyl is scuffy from eager DJ use 50 years ago, but I've personally cleaned the record and play-graded it. Plays nice. VERY GOOD

GRADING

Usually, VG++ is as high as you’ll see me go.
Near Mint is rare, usually play-test verified, and MINT is reserved for sealed items.
