Classic first UK lp on HMV from Elvis
Catalogue number: HMV CLP 1093
The lp is in good condition. Visually it is very good with a few surface marks just visible in daylight. There is a little very light crackle in the lead in and in between tracks. There is, however, a small amount of distortion on some tracks (most notably on the opening tracks). It is not too distracting but it does mean that the sound grading is no more than good.
The cover is in good condition. It is notoriously flimsy and this is one of the better ones that I have seen, but there is a significant tear to the opening (both front and back) and a couple of cm of the top rear flap is missing (see photos). There is general wear to all edges and the spine but nothing that isn't typical of this sleeve.
The labels are very good. There is a little wear to the holes but nothing major.
The lp comes complete with the original inner which is in very good condition.
