Elvis Presley Rock 'N' Roll LP on HMV CLP 1093

First Elvis Lp 1956.

Matrix   2XAV 255 1N & 2XAV 256 1N

Front and back double flipback sleeve in fair condition. The centre of the opening edge is badly worn and is split horizontally 50mm from the outer edge. The spine is in tact but has some very small splits. The bottom edge has a 110mm split in the centre.The top edge is split 2/3 from the outer edge. 50% of the lamination is missing. The centre of the flipbacks are missing, The rear is grubby and has ringwear.The rear central opening edge has 40 mm split and has a small part missing.

The disc surprisingly is in excellent + condition.

Visually the disc has a very small amount of very light very small sleevewear lines.The labels are very clean and bright and it is difficult to detect many spindle marks. This has been playtested on two different systems with similar results. Side one. There is a fairly loud pop inbetween track 2 and 3 and a couple of lighter pops on track 3. On this side there are one or two other light pops.Apart from that the rest of the record plays incredibly well with very little surface noise or audiable extranious noise. It lies true and flat on the record platter.
