Please note that i do tend to use in and around the " Very Good / Near excellent Condition " grade for a lot of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . I never use a " Mint " or " Near Mint " grade . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is also why i do often go into more detail than most with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use the " Excellent Condition " grade , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest whispy type hairlines only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , please don't forget though , that all records will obviously vary in sound quality etc on other set ups depending on the quality being used etc , but please do check out all of my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Please note, all records are packed in proper pro card mailers with a minimum of 3 stiffeners for LP’s and 2 for 7" singles ( more if i think they are needed ) . CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. These are also taped with brown parcel tape along all edges and seams for added protection.

Elvis Presley Rock n Roll No 2 HMV LP 1957 Fully Laminated Pro Cleaned See Details . On UK HMV plum with gold print and large " Nipper " logo paper labels CLP 1105 Mono . Although there is a quite small bit of paper loss on the front , the cover is still very nice and clean and retains a lovely glossy shine , please see below for full cover and record details and please see photos for track listings , thank you .

COVER: Factory single thin notoriously flimsy card cover generally in a strong near good / very good overall condition , i have had to give a lower grade on this due to a quite small bit of paper loss / tear near the centre section of the front opening edge and most of the wear being also on the opening edges . A very very very few very light and small general age related / surface / handling marks in places and some usual but overall light denting , there are just three or four very very light usual hairlines on the laminate , amazingly the cover still retains a lovely shine on both sides and really is overall still very clean , there is some age related fading / foxing present but on the whole , this really is very light only , being a bit darker on the rear opening edge , i will say this does look darker than it actually is in the photos . The usual but overall very light only ring wear marks are present with just a very light bit of usual rubbing and a light impression of the outer edge of the record . Some normal useage / age related wear on the side opening edges with a few very small knicks on the paper on the very outer edges ( not tears ) , there is some feathering and denting present and also some " gapping " , there is also some laminate lifting and peeling / flaking and the odd but very small bit of laminate loss in places on these opening edges and there is a thin strip of age related browning on the inside on these opening edges , there are some usual bits of fraying / rubbing etc on and just near to the corners but amazingly , this is quite light only and mainly on the tips and very near to the tips , there is a bit of use related rounding on the corners and one tiny pierced hole on the bottom left corner tip and a very small start of a split on the bottom right corner , but these really are very small indeed , only very very light wear on the main parts of the top and bottom edges with just the odd usual tiny crack line , there are just a few usual laminate crease lines in places round the edges , but these are very small only , there is one extremely small dark mark on the rear , also a slightly bit more rubbing from the ring wear mark also on the rear , but only slightly , both scalloped flipbacks are intact with just a bit of grubiness etc , mainly along the bottom outer edges of the flipbacks , there is a crease line on the left and right hand sides of the bottom flipback , the spine is very good and nearly fully legible with just the first E in Presley rubbed off and most of the Y is missing , there is some light denting and the odd usual very small crack line , there is also some laminate lift on the spine side edges and just very near to ( in the usual places along the spine side edge , but this is just on the top part ) , the cover is writing free . Even with the paper loss this really is still a very clean and nice overall example , maybe even the bit of paper loss could be professionally repaired if you wanted to spend the money on it . 

INNER SLEEVE: Poly lined off white inner sleeve with info on how to care for your record printed small in a lilac colour in a square shape round the die cut hole in the centre on one side , there are some age / use etc related grubby marks in places and some denting / light rippling mainly on the top sections there are some grubby marks along the top opening edges , there are the usual ring wear marks present , the inner is writing free , i will also be putting the record into a new plain white paper inner sleeve . 

LABELS: Plum with gold print and large " Nipper " logo paper labels generally in a really nice and still very clean condition , all of the print is legible , there are just a couple of extremely tiny white spot marks on S1 label , really very tiny indeed and you do really have to look closely for them , there are just some usual but light spindle marks ,there is just a very light bit of wear with white showing round the spindle hole very outer edges and not the often seen heavily rubbed spindle hole edges , both labels are writing free .

RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a strong near very good condition , though some may say a bit better overall , there are just a few mostly very light and small / very small only surface marks , but there are quite a few mostly just very light and very fine hairlines , some more visible than others but nothing really sinister and i actually couldn't feel any when i rubbed my finger over them , there are no nasty deep gouges etc , i will also say that some of these finer hairlines are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light , the record still retains a good overall shine . Please note that there maybe the odd tiny dust particle or tiny bit of fluff etc seen on the record in places in the photos off my wiping cloth due to static etc , i can't see them on the record at the time but they sometimes do show up when I take the close up photos , this is also because i do take the photos before i vacuum clean the record , thank you for your understanding . AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally quite light noise . It plays through perfectly with no skips or sticks , still on the whole , crisp and clear throughout on the music playback , though there was some crackle present throughout on the music but i thought it played surprisingly well overall considering it's age and popularity , it played through with some mostly quite light crackle , but please see these descriptions , the quieter T2 played through very well overall , the quieter T5 did have a bit louder static type noise but this was mainly because the static crackle got louder as the vocals got louder , the static seemed to follow and go with the vocals in loudness , so this could actually be on the recording itself , i have come across this before quite a few times , especially on older records , there was also the odd light pop in places on the last part also of T5 , as i say the rest was just mostly light crackle , but this certainly did not overpower any of the music in my opinion , there was i think one tick on the silent track changeover line , i think it was T4 to T5 , as i say it was mostly just light crackle , obviously the occasional slightly louder bit and the static on T5 , but as i say , nothing overpowering or totally deafening , bar the one mentioned one , there were no nasty loud ticks , there may just have been the odd faint isolated pop that i may have missed i must say that also a lot of the silent track changeover lines were quite quiet overall . Silent run off has some usual but generally quite light noise . 

AUDIO B SIDE: Again there was some crackle present throughout , but please see full description . Silent run in has some usual but generally quite light noise but it does have a " sch " type noise . It plays through pretty much fine , on this side there were a couple of passages of mostly light pops / ticks in places , however there was this same " sch " type noise as on the silent run in on the intro and very briefly on the very start of T1 and there was also a very brief quick light skip , after this it was just light crackle , i have shown this in the video and hopefully you can hear this , as for the mostly light pops / ticks , these were light only pops approx half way , maybe just after on T2 and these continued ( pretty much per rotation ) pretty much for the rest of the track , bar this , this quieter track did though just have mostly light crackle , the other passage was some quite light ticks ( about 14 i think ) mostly per rotation on the intro and start of T5 with mostly very light crackle , there were a couple of pops on the silent track changeover line , i think from T2 to T3 and a couple of ticks i think from T3 to T4 , T3 just has mostly very light mainly background crackle , T4 just has mostly very light crackle , T6 just had mostly very light crackle , there may just have been the odd light isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally quite light noise . 

Obviously far from a pristine example ( though certainly not trashed in any way ) , but still a decent enough copy overall i think of this now very collectable item and with a clean cover , yes it has the usual noise issues etc which is on most unless you want to pay hundreds , but i think overall this still plays quite well . For the reasons stated , i have started this one off at a reasonable ( i think ) £49.99p , the extra shown is what Ebay add on for their fees . Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear .
