Description
This is a great piece of vinyl history, an Elvis Presley LP released in 1956!
This LP includes such classic rock & roll tracks as ‘Blue Suede Shoes’, ‘Lawdy, Miss Clawdy’ and ‘Shake, Rattle And Roll’; I’d highly recommend reading the rear-sleeve blurb in the picture for some more detailed information.
The sleeve has clear damage to the left edge, with one several inches long tear and a couple of minor ones to the rear. Some corner wear and minor staining so see pictures for clear description. The sleeve and inner both are perfectly serviceable and have residual integrity despite the wear.
The vinyl itself is not unreasonable to be called VG+, but is being graded here as VG due to one ‘clean’ skip of approx 1 second during between 5 to 10 seconds-point of side A.
A3 has minor background noise (when we wound the volume up) and A4 had 1 small pop, otherwise a VG+ side; while Side B has minor background noise throughout when wound up but nothing affecting the tracks given the quality of the original recordings.
