Description
One of the rarest Elvis Presley records as it was only produced as a give away for a local radio station here in Toledo, ohio..RCA PRO 12 with Elvis singing Old Shep on one cut plus jim reeves/eddy arnold/hank snow on other cuts...I contacted Joan Deary of RCA over 20 years ago to find out more about this record...she said what little she knew was it was pressed in Camden NJ circa 1956 and was the second such private pressing for the radio station (pro 10 came earlier w/o any elvis)...she did not have the production run totals but thought it could be about 1000 pressed all with a sleeve with the song listings on it...how many survived in the last 50 years no sleeve with this one...The labels are pure white unmarked and near perfect vinyl has glossy mirror-like surface and I believe unplayed with only a few light surface scuffs that do not impact play...It is the best I have had in the last 10-15 years...great investment for the true Elvis Collector
