Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1968 single Let Yourself Go / Your Time Hasn't Come Yet Baby released in the USA.
The record itself (47-9547 )is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are visually some marks/scratches(nothing too deep or drastic)
The labels have NO WRITING , however there is a green pen mark which is on one side going onto the vinyl (don't think it will affect play though).
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $70 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- )for the sleeve alone.
This sleeve is over 45 years old and shows minimal signs of age.
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some light ringwear/creases(see photos)
This is the 2nd and much RARER of the 2 sleeves issued for this release and advertizes "ASK FOR " Speedway " (rather than the earlier Coming Soon)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $80(£52 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
