Description
Offered for auction is an old vintage Elvis Presley RCA picture disc record. The LP record appears to be of a clear plastic, with one side featuring bright colorful graphics of Elvis with Hawaiian girls. The other appears to be the photos used on the original cover of the Live at Madison Square Garden recording RCA number LSP-4776. Though the original recording on black vinyl was issued in 1972 with paper labels, research indicates that this was an experimental picture disc manufactured in the Indianapolis plant in 1978. Since so little information was found, there is no other substantiation.
This is a 12" diameter 33 1/3 record . The matrix numbers appear to be BPRS 5144-2S on one side, and BPRS 5145 7 on the other. This does not have an outside sleeve or cover. The inside sleeve is plain and void of any advertising or promotional material. The same is of a plain beige color with some minor aging and creases as illustrated. The record itself appears to be in very good condition with no damage to report. This is offered as described and illustrated in the photos below.
