DON'T WAIT...YOUR CHANCE AT AN AUTHENTIC ELVIS RECORDING PIECE OF HISTORY!!!                    NO RESERVE! 

 Very good condition with double pilot and white wax pencil of the words "Elvis, Treat Me Nice, 78-BA" on it. It is a 10", 78rpm, in the original manila sleeve.

Plays crystal clear and very well!!!  Please use photos to complete description!!!

This was found along with 6 others similar to it, in my dad's belongings who was a popular gospel singer as I grew up in Nashville in the fifties. I consulted with one of the Jordanaires' sons, who's father wrote this song and who is also affiliated with the Country Music Hall of Fame, authenticating memorabilia there for various artists. He said  this piece was an acetate over metal recording that was recorded from the final cut recording, at the time the original recording was made. It is a nitrocellulose laquer coated blank disc which captures the sound. It was used as a test pressing at the time of the session.

Written by Mike Stoller and Jerry Leiber, Presley recorded this song on September 3, 1957.  The flip side to the release on September 24, 1957 was "Jailhouse Rock". The song features Presley's regular band of Scotty Moore on lead guitar (with Presley usually providing rhythm guitar), Bill Black on bass, D.J. Fontana on drums, Dudley Brooks on piano and backing vocals from the Jordanaires.
