Description
This LP features a number of recordings taken from a recently discovered tape (in 2018) of previously unheard personal recordings made by Elvis when off duty in Bad Nauheim while stationed with the US army in Germany during 1958-1960. It contains the best of the privately recorded tapes Elvis made while off duty in 1959.
The original tapes - damaged with background noise, hiss and distortion - have now all been painstakingly cleaned, repaired, and restored, using the most sophisticated technology available with excellent results.
This LP also contains a number of recently discovered early renditions of songs Elvis would record formally years later.
