Description
This is an auction for a COMPLETE set of ALL 4 USA variations of the photo sleeves 1956 release of Love Me Tender / Anyway You Want Me released in the USA.
There were 4 colours issued for this release which consisted of 1. Light Pink 2. Dark Pink 3. Green 4. Black (these are all listed in order of rarity but all were released in October 1956)
They are all in the following conditions.
1. Light pink . Sleeve VG+ . No RIPS, TEARS or WRITING. Nice Colour.There is a seam split at the side which has been taped .(hence lower grade)
Record VG/ VG+ some visible marks/scratches nothing deep or drastic. Labels without Horizontal Line. No writing on label.
2. Dark Pink . Sleeve VG+ No WRITING. Some small tears to top opener and tape at sides where there were seam splits.
Record EX- / VG+ Crisp, clean labels WITH RARER silver line. Vinyl nice natural sheen.
3. Green and Black . Sleeve VG- (VG minus) Rips to side , ringwear, pencil writing on back.
Record VG/ VG+ Rarer WITH Horizontal Line . Some visible marks/scratches but nothing deep or drastic.
4. Black and White Sleeve VG - Nice colour , a few Rips at the top and side (one at top has been magic taped) but NO WRITING!
Record VG+ Clean labels, No Writing. Some nice sheen, a few marks/scratches (nothing deep or drastic though)
Overall a couple of years ago this collection of all 4 was valued at about $305(£202+) so i guess it must be around £210+ now.
I will start this at under HALF of that!!
THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION UNTIL THAT MINT EQUIVILANT SET OF ALL 4 SLEEVE VARIATIONS and 2 RECORDS WITH and 2 RECORDS WITHOUT Silverline £465+ COLLECTION COME ALONG!!!
