This is Elvis on the rare very first pressing of the Love Letters album. What is the difference between this and the later common issues? First, the original has an inner sleeve advertising the entire library of Elvis 8-Track tapes. Second, the LP is from the experimental Dynaflex stage of RCA productions. Soon after, they got rid of that logo and manufactured the vinyl slightly thicker again. Third, the RCA logo on the front cover is on the top center WITHOUT any RE noted on the cover. The pressings that came after this had the RCA logo on the bottom corner, and then it was back on top again, but either with a reissue number and/or an RE stated. It is very rare to find the first pressing of this LP in clean condition with the 8-track sleeve. The cover of this item has a couple of tiny wear spots at the corners and a very tiny minor wear spot on the upper seam, and it otherwise looks like it just came out of the shrink wrap. Nice and clean with no seam splits. The inner sleeve (record stored in a separate generic sleeve) is very clean with a few minor creases. No splits. The record is Near Mint and plays great! (Please see extra pictures above for labels and back cover). Grading as follows: Near Mint=Like New or Very Close. VG++=Slight Wear/Close to Near Mint. VG+=Mild Wear/Nothing Serious. VG=Noticeable Scuffs and/or Scratches but Still Enjoyable.
