Elvis Presley LET YOURSELF GO DJ PROMO 45 rpm RCA 47-9547.
One of the more " Harder-To-Find" Presley DJ PROMO 45's. This 45 HAD DJ stickers applied to one side which came off CLEAN but did leave 2 visible "residue" spots on that side and the program director made an ASTRIX on the B Side with a ballpoint pen. All of the above described "issues" ARE ALL SHOWN IN PHOTOS so PLEASE ZOOM ALL PHOTOS as the item that you see PICTURED is the item that YOU'LL RECEIVE.
VINYL=VG to VG+ ( Due to some light hairlines and a couple of light paper scuffs which appear to have been caused by shelf/storage shuffling around over the years. I played both sides on my Garrard Zero 100 with a Quadraphonic CD-4 Shibata tip stylus and there's SOME light background noise mainly on the B Side but it's not that distracting to keep it from being a good listen.
If your wanting a NM- copy of this 45 for your collection PASS ON THIS ONE due to the above Vinyl description. I don't think that other than the day that the radio station RECEIVED this Promo that the program director PROBABLY played checked BOTH sides to figure out IF it was to be used by them which side to play on the air.
But MY OPINION is that other than maybe being played ONCE on each side that they SHELVED it in their library and it never saw a turntable again. As there's NO PLAY WEAR on the grooves on either side just a few light hairlines and a few light paper scuffs from shelf/storage wear.
This would be classed as a "Keeper" for most collectors due to it's RARITY in ANY condition but it NOT in the NM- or VG+++ category.
