  Artist: Elvis Presley  Title: I Got a Woman b/w I'm Counting on You Label/Number: RCA Victor 20-6637 (M) Record condition: VG Notes: The labels are in decent condition with quite a few spindle marks (see photos). The playing surface has good gloss with some light surface scratches that might ordinarily qualify as VG+. However, it has a small rim chip and a tiny brown spot manufactured into the shellac that lead me to grade it overall at VG (see photos). Neither the rim chip nor the brown spot affect the playback. The rim chip doesn't quite extend into the playing surface. Both sides of the record play very well. The original sleeve is in fairly decent condition with some wrinkles but no tears, including to the seams (see photos). It's not great but is still a decent addition to a rare record. Grading: Grading is usually only visual for VG+ or better items, although if time allows I may play to verify the quality of a pressing or just to hear the music. VG items are usually only listed if they are fairly hard-to-find items and are always play graded. Regardless of the grade, if I do play the record, I note the results in the item description. I use Goldmine standards with Ebay's EX grade added for items NOT QUITE up to NM; but please read the notes above as I try to note anything that might influence the grading one way or another. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record and hope my feedback speaks well for my grading. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number.
