ELVIS PRESLEY – “HOW GREAT THOU ART” (LSP-3758) with SCARCE “Grammy Award Winner” Logo on Back from 1969!
RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with beautiful, original gloss! This Indianapolis, non-flexible pressing has some very light surface scuffs, mainly on Side 2 that should not have any effect on the audible performance. This record should play great! The Orange Labels are beautiful, with just a small amount of wear about the spindle hole on Side 2. The matrix numbers end with 15S/13S, respectively.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with 100% of the original shrink wrap still present, although there is a 5 to 6-inch tear in it on the back side, just above the “Grammy Award” logo. The cover shows some bruising at the open end edges toward the center, which has resulted in just a very tiny tear as well as softness to that area. The original shrink wrap has served this cover well in protecting against ring wear! The Gold “Grammy Award Winner” logo was placed on these covers once the supply of Gold Shrink Stickers had run out and were used for just a short period of time, themselves. I am certain that this particular album is a 1969 release due to the fact that the record is non-flexible vinyl and that it has the signature “flat labels” of Indianapolis. This is a very original album to add to a high-end collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia.
