Here is a great copy of the first ever HMV 7" record released in England by Elvis Presley. Heartbreak Hotel / I was The One.

catalogue no 7M-385. 

 

The record is in EXCELLENT condition and has a great shine to the vinyl, the labels are in absolutely STUNNING condition and are a really rich dark purple, absolutely no fading. Every bit of the gold writing still stands out beautifully and it has very little spindle wear.

 

This is one of a batch of HMVs we were lucky enough to come across which had been in storage and therefore the labels are still the original colour and not faded.

 

This is probably the most valuable of the HMVs and the condition of this one is a real investment for any collector.
