NICE Original example of one of Elvis' 1st 5 Sun Records releases that RCA duplicated upon signing Presley in early 1956 and released on the RCA label immediately. Due to the FRAGILE nature of the 78 rpm format, these are getting harder-to-find in ANY condition. This being said, this 78 plays out at least a VG+ and the labels are between a VG to VG+. There's light background noise but this 78 has never been cleaned, which would IMPROVE it's playback. I personally do not play my Presley 78's, I FRAME them for display. If you're a TRUE collector, you KNOW that today's equipment and stylus system was NOT designed to play the wide, deep grooved, high speed 78 rpm records. Luckily I have a nice 1962 RCA console stereo that has the type of tonearm that lets you FLIP the stylus over from 45's to 78's. NO skips or pops, just light background noise that probably, with a good professional cleaning would raise the grade a bit. Labels are NICE for displaying, framed. The 78 had very little play, and what play it did have was with a good needle that did NO damage to the grooves on either side and appears never to have been "stacked" and dropped into other 78's while being played.
