This superb 1957 1st pressing is on the UK turquoise & silver HMV label: 7EG 8256

Housed in its original fully laminated, flipback 'Mayfair' printed picture sleeve.

Matrix numbers: 7TAV 415-1N & 7TAV 416-1N
Stamper numbers: 1/A & 1/R

Visual: EXCELLENT

Carefully played just a few times, both surfaces are pristine bright & glossy, undulled by overplay or careless handling.
Careful inspection directly beneath a powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a single 5mm light fingernail scuff on side 1 & few light paper hairlines.
Otherwise there are no other marks or an scratches on either side if this fine disc.
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.

Audio: EXCELLENT

All tracks play perfectly with just the faintest hint of background at volume but no groove/peakwear distortion or other significant audible faults.
Both run-ins and all bands play extremely quietly and there are no pops, clicks, jumps, repeats or any other audible wear.
Hard to find a nicer copy.


Cover: EXCELLENT

Strong, clean & glossy retaining an intact, unscratched front laminate with just a single laminate 'ripple' but no heavy creases or major wear.
The corners are all square & unbumped and both opening edges are totally unworn with no tears or 'feathering'.
There rear disaplys some natural discolouration but is otherwise clean and without marks, writing or missing laminate/paper.
Both flipbacks are intact & undamaged and the all seams are strong, unstressed & unsplit.
