Elvis Presley Good Rockin' Tonight Original Sun USA 210 45 RARE 1st issue 1954
This auction is for a very rare original 1st pressing Elvis Presley Sun Records 45 - cat. number is 210. The titles are "I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine" and "Good Rockin' Tonight" The rare was pressed in 1954 and is Elvis' second 45 ever produced! It is incredibly rare and is not to be confused with later reissues or bootlegs. This pressing has the original memphis pressing 'push marks' in the label area of the vinyl. There are three of these push marks on both sides of the vinyl. The record has the original number etched into the run out grooves on both sides of the vinyl.

This record is guaranteed to be the original 1st issue of this rare 45.
Both labels are clear and the print is readable. They are still bright yellow, with side two label (Good rocking Tonight) having a little more wear and a name written in pen and a very faded pencil name. There are a few grazes and some rubbing, all clearly viewable i the pictures o the listing. Side one label (I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine) has the remnants of a sticker at the top of the label and a few very small surface grazes. No writing, again very bright yellow and all writing clearly visible.
The vinyl has been well played as you would expect of a record over 60 years old. There are no cracks or brakes in the vinyl No warps or other distortions. The tracks both play loud and clear, although they both have the 'Sun hiss' that all the original 45's have. Later reissues do not have this noise. Both sides are covered with spider web type marks, but none of these are deep and none can be felt with the finger tip. It may clean up better, but I will not attempt this because of the value of the record and will leave to the winning bidder.
This record is truly a piece of rock n roll history, only a few thousand copies were pressed in 1954, so there will not be many left now. It would look great in a frame...
