Here it is! The RARE "GIRL HAPPY" 16" x 20" Bonus Print by June Kelly!! This is VERY HIGHLY sought after, but was actually GIVEN AWAY at record stores to promote the "Girl Happy" Soundtrack Album! This is the ORIGINAL, TEXTURED PRINT and not the slick re-makes from 1970 (see Presleyana VI by Jerry Osborne, Page 190). June Kelly also painted the likeness shown on Elvis' "Frankie And Johnny" Bonus Photo as well. Although NOT Near Mint, this print is all there, but has a couple of small tears at two sides along with some soft corners and color lift from around the sides as though it was taped in a frame at some time. Aside from this, there is also evidence of some very light glueing on the back side, like it was adhered to a sheet of cardboard. There is also some wrinkling, but if this were matted and framed, it would surely please any observer! I would say that this item grades a strong VG. As an added bonus, you will receive an original 1977 bumper sticker which reads "ELVIS JAN 8 1935 - AUG 16 1977 Long Live The King". The bumper sticker measures 15" x 4" and is unused, but wrinkled.
I believe that the value of only $100.00 for a Near Mint copy of one of these is HIGHLY underrated, as shown in Presleyana VI. How many collectors of Elvis memorabilia out there actually HAVE one of these??? Expect very spirited bidding in those last 20 seconds!
This item will be carefully rolled and shipped USPS Priority Mail in a poster tube to avoid damage while in transit.
