ELVIS PRESLEY - "G. I. BLUES" (LPM-2256) - FIRST PRESSING WITH ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP STILL ON THE COVER!!
RECORD: VG+ First Pressing of this Original Soundtrack Recording from 1960! The record still has plenty of original gloss, although there are several very light surface scratches and paper sleeve scuffs that should not deter the listening enjoyment. Expect some random "ticks" on a record of this vintage, nonetheless. The labels are clean and original with just some light spindle marks noticed. This is an Indianapolis pressing with matrix numbers ending with 1S/10S.
COVER: EXCELLENT with the original shrink wrap still intact. There are just a couple of minor tears in the shrink that are on the lower portion of the front. this cover would easily grade Near Mint if not for the two lower corner bends. A beautiful cover despite this minor detraction! There is absolutely no seam splits, tape, writing, graffiti or staple holes whatsoever. This album is a "must-have" for the avid Elvis collector!
INNER SLEEVE: Original brownish "Elvis Is Back!" sleeve, depicting nearly all of Elvis' LP Catalog at the time of the release of "G. I. Blues". These inner sleeves could be found with any given previously released Elvis album in 1960.
