Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1966 single Frankie And Johnny / Please Don't Stop Loving Me released in the USA.
The record itself (47-8780)is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
The labels are clean and have NO WRITING!!
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $35 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone.
This sleeve is 51 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS , RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear/creases/scuff marks and some water damage to the bottom (see photos)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $45(£31 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £32.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases.(Please request total invoice when through bidding!)
