Description

ELVIS PRESLEY - “FROM MEMPHIS TO VEGAS” (LSP-6020) - FIRST PRESSING WITH "ERROR CREDITS" ON NON-FLEXIBLE VINYL. "WORDS" SHOWS "Tommy Boyce - Bob Hart" & "SUSPICIOUS MINDS" IS ERRONEOUSLY CREDITED TO "Frances Zambon". INCLUDES TWO BONUS PHOTOS!           RECORDS: VG++ (EXC) with clean, glossy surfaces on both records. This is the "Error Credits" variety, showing Tommy Boyce - Bob Hart as songwriters for "Words" and Frances Zambon for "Suspicious Minds". This album was released in November of 1969 with this error. By December, the error had been noticed, then subsequently corrected to show R., B. and M. Gibb and Mark James, as respective songwriters. Both of these records in this set should play great! There are just some very light surface scuffs that should have very little to no effect on the listening enjoyment. Please see all 12 photos! This Rockaway pressing has the "flat" labels, which are normally encountered on Indianapolis pressings and they are simply gorgeous! The matrix numbers for Record 1 end with 4S/3S and 4S/4S for Record 2.    COVER: VG++ (EXC) with just very minimal ring wear on each side. There are absolutely no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. The slick was placed a bit off-center, leaving a white border at the open end on the "Back In Memphis", resulting in the spine lettering to be visible on the front of the album. Some minor wear is seen along the edge of the spine and there is some trivial corner tip wear. This is all very minor when looking at the "big picture" with this cover; a very clean and fully original gate fold cover!
INNER SLEEVES:  The original "ELVIS' Great LP Catalog" (40D) sleeves from the era.
BONUS PHOTOS:  Photos a and b (as assigned by Jerry Osborne in his "Presleyana VIII"). Both photos are VG++ (EXC) with just some record edge impression as well as corner tip bends. There are no tears, pinholes, tape residue, writing or check marks anywhere on these photos; fully original!
GOOD LUCK!

I COMBINE SHIPPING! $4 for the first LP, then 25 cents for each additional LP. International Shipping has resumed for select countries. Please do not ask me to check "Gift" instead of "Merchandise" or to declare a low value on the Customs Form!  I ship all records in the CORRECT cardboard record mailers, specifically designed for shipping these historic and tough-to-replace treasures to your doorstep in the same condition as when they leave my hands. USPS has been known to find a way to bend these boxes on occasion, hard as that may be to believe, so items valued at $30 or more will be shipped automatically with insurance at no additional cost to the buyer. ALL of my records are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated.  Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within three business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday. Please do NOT bid if you do not intend to pay! Lately, I have had a few bidders fail to make payment. Must be sort of a hobby with them that somehow gives them great enjoyment. It does, however, create an inconvenience as a case for non-payment has to be opened and then the item then is relisted. Returns are accepted if you are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction. 2018 marks 40 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley.
