Elvis Presley ELVIS LP 1956 Pressing LPM-1254 Cover NM- Matrix G2 PP1282 9S B3

 I have done a great deal of research on this lp and the first thing that is obvious is the G in the matrix info indicates a 1956 pressing which is the year this lp came out. The long play stamp on the bottom of the vinyl label and the New Orthophonic box on the back also indicate the 1956 pressing. The complete matrix numbers are listed below.

The Cover of this LP is in unbelivable condition for an album that was released in 1956. There are NO SEAM SPLITS and NO EDGE WEAR. The binding is very tight. Colors and type are still very sharp. The HD pictures I have taken will let you judge for yourself the quality of the cover, but I have rated it a NM- based on the year it was issued.

The Vinyl has been played and has scruffs and scratches. Since this lp may go for alot of money, I have rated the vinyl very conservative as VG.

The value of this Lp is the pressing and the amazing condition of the cover.

the A2 on side two is hard to read  as it is does not seemd to have been stamped very deep. I am not 100% sure it says A2 but that is what it appears to be.

For this album, the key to identifying a first-pressing LP is that it says "Long Play" on the bottom of the label. The key to identifying a first-pressing jacket is that it has a box on the back corner talking about the "New Orthophonic" High Fidelity Recordings. This lp for Aution has both of these.

This album will be shipped US Priority mail for free to US only

Records Rating Guide

Mint = Album Sealed no bends  Perfect in every way.  This rating is very rarely given.

Near Mint =  Vinyl has no scrathes or scruffs and have never been played., but has been opened. Album Jacket has no bends, tares or stains.

Very Good Plus =  Vinyl may have small scruffs or small scrathes. . Jacket may have a small crease or show some signs of ware but generally in still nice shape and pretty tight.

Very Good  =   A record with some scrathes and scruffs but still in playable shape. Jacket has some tares or bends or may show browning or writing . 

Good   A record with many srathes  usally only listed for really rare or collectabel records that people just got to have no matter what.

Record Albums are always shipped in large hard cardboard formatted record album mailers, in order to protect the vinyl from breaking. Please understand that this causes international shipping to be expensive. They are sent first class air international.
