ELVIS PRESLEY - “ELVIS’ GOLD RECORDS, VOLUME 2” (LPM-2075), A VERY SCARCE 1963-64 SECOND PRESSING WITH "MONO" LABELS!         RECORD: VG+ with several very light surface scuffs, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. I test-played the softest track on the album, "Don't", and did detect some subtle crackle along with a single "tick", although the vocals and instrumentation remain as strong as when first pressed! The remainder of this very scarce Hollywood pressing should play beautifully. The "MONO" labels are very clean with just a few very light spindle marks on each side. These second pressings with the "MONO" labels are very scarce as they were produced for just one year, from mid-1963 through October of 1964, when the "White Top" labels were introduced. This album was originally released in December of 1959, while Elvis was serving in the U.S. Army.      COVER: NM with approximately 80% of the original shrink wrap still on the cover! There is just a missing piece torn from the front that has exposed the cover to any negative wear. The original "Giant Music" price sticker of $2.79 remains affixed to the upper left corner on the front. A truly beautiful cover and rare this nice!         INNER SLEEVE: The original turquoise "ELVIS' great LP Catalog" sleeve from 1963. A lower central edge split is observed.
