Description
ELVIS PRESLEY - “ELVIS' CHRISTMAS ALBUM” (LOC-1035), A BEAUTIFUL 1957 ISSUE WITH FULLY INTACT BOUND-IN PHOTO ALBUM! RECORD: VG+ with some light surface scuffs & scratches, but nothing that can be felt with the fingertip. This record was test-played in its entirety and there were no skips or repeats! However, some light to moderate "ticks" are noticed in quiet areas of the music. The labels show all characteristics of a Rockaway pressing, but I was unable to find the "R" in the dead wax trail-off. The labels are clean and original, but as would be expected, most of the light spindle marks are seen on the "Side 2" label. This album was released in November of 1957 and includes the popular Elvis Christmas single, "Blue Christmas". The matrix numbers on this record end with 3S/4S. COVER: VG++ (EXC) and with no seam splits! There is a very minor split of just an inch or so beneath "ELVIS PRESLEY" on the spine. The vast majority of these covers have a split that runs completely along the spine. Only the lightest of ring wear can be seen on this cover and you really have to look for it to see it! The upper edges do show some spotted wear and the lower edges remain smooth with just minimal shelf wear. There is absolutely no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover! INNER SLEEVE: The original "RCA Victor" sleeve from the era, listing Elvis' "Loving You" album in the "Popular" category on the back side.
I COMBINE SHIPPING! $4 for the first LP, then 25 cents for each additional LP. International Shipping has resumed for select countries. Please do not ask me to check "gift" instead of "Merchandise" or to declare a low value on the Customs Form! I ship all records in the CORRECT cardboard record mailers, specifically designed for shipping these historic and tough-to-replace treasures to your doorstep in the same condition as when they leave my hands. USPS has been known to find a way to bend these boxes on occasion, hard as that may be to believe, so items valued at $30 or more will be shipped automatically with insurance at no additional cost to the buyer. ALL of my records are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within three business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday. Returns are accepted if you are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction. 2018 marks 40 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley.
