Description
This is an auction for a RARE ORIGINAL copy of the 1958 single Don't / I Beg Of You released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7150 dog on top ) is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are some visible marks/scratches (nothing that can be felt)
There is a slight edge warp but should not affect playback. ( but hence the lower grade)
The labels have NO WRITING but have some rubbing (see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $40 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!
There is NO SEAM SPLITS , RIPS or TEARS.
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is a name on Elvis' head on one side ( hence the lower starting price)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this rare sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $55 (£42 approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £43.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
This would be an affordable filler in any collection until that £75+ MINT copy comes along!
