As I continue to auction my enormous 35-year-collection of Elvis Presley records, you now have have the opportunity to bid on this NEAR MINT copy of "DON'T BE CRUEL / HOUND DOG" (47-6604). This early Elvis single was released in 1956 on RCA Victor records. This particular copy comes with the scarcer Picture Sleeve showing "Don't Be Cruel" above "Hound Dog!". The vast majority of these sleeves have those titles transposed and of course, those are more common and subsequently valued at less money. This beautiful Picture Sleeve grades EXCELLENT with no tears, splits, staple holes, tape or writing; a fully original sleeve! There is just the normal light ring wear, left by the circular impression from the record being inside. Note: The photo shows the front of the sleeve as lighter than the back; this is a result of the camera flash as both sides are quite dark. It is in no way faded.
