This is a legendary piece of Rock & Roll history. Released in September 1956, this 78 RPM record features two of Elvis Presley’s most explosive tracks from his early career. "Blue Suede Shoes" was originally a hit for Carl Perkins, but Elvis's high-energy rendition became a cultural phenomenon, famously performing it on the Dorsey Brothers' "Stage Show." The B-side, "Tutti Frutti," is a high-octane cover of the Little Richard classic.
By the mid-50s, the industry was rapidly shifting toward the 45 RPM format, making these original 78 RPM pressings significantly harder to find today, especially in playable condition. This particular copy is an authentic artifact from the dawn of the King’s reign.
