Description

2 different HMV pressings.

Elvis' UK 1st Number 1.

 

All shook up/That's when your heartaches begin (HMV 359).

RRG values it at £150 in EX but this copy is about VG+/VG- I would guess but then I am no expert (morelike EX if compared to the ones I've been getting that were graded higher so I'd rather grade lower). Lovely clean labels!!!

This variation is unlisted in Elvis UK as it is the same as the first pressing but with a replacement centre as opposed to the 2nd variation (listed).

It plays with no jumps whatsoever. The A Side sounds great except for slight background hiss at the beginning and the B Side starts a bit "crackly" but then gets much better. Sounds better than I've made it sound!!

Labels are clean too, no grafitti, just a little "worn". It's looking a lot better than I will after 54 years, I reckon.

All in all, a lovely record and (as I say) it plays great.

Elvis UK doesn't listed the variation as it has the BELINDA MUSIC LTD on the A Side so, possibly hard to find.

It comes with an HMV sleeve but I think it must be a reproduction as it is in almost spotless condition.
