9) Hello, Music Lovers! A nice rainy day in San Rafael and since I’m stuck in the house, a perfect day to do my monthly posting of records. So lets go go go….
Great copy of Gold Standard Series 447-0651 “Joshua Fit The Battle” b/w “Known Only To Him”. Released for Easter, 1966, this is a BLACK LABEL STORE STOCK copy. Since this record didn’t sell well, you see a lot more promos than store stock. Record grades VG+, Looks great with light scuffs. Beautiful original labels are unmarked.
But the real story here is the original Gold Standard picture sleeve. Only the slightest hint of wear, which is so uncommon on this piece.. A staple hole and the hint of a purple 69¢ stamp in the upper right corner mark this has a true stock copy. I should also mention… If you look close at the front you can see neatly written in the upper corners 0651. The back has the same writing twice on the top of the sleeve. . A real beauty! Don’t You Dare Miss It!
