This is an original US vinyl pressing on RCA Victor LPM-1382  from 1956.     This is the second US Elvis Presley album.      It has the cover variation that has no advertisements for other albums on the back cover.    It has the original black label with dog on top and Long Play 33 1/3 at bottom.     It's the deep groove pressing that has a circular indent in the label about 1/2 inch from the edge.      This is the very first pressing with the alternate take of 'Old Shep'.    On this song Elvis sings : "he grew old AND his eyes were fast growing dim".    The side two matrix number is : G2 WP7208-15S.        The side one matrix number is : G2 WP7207-12S.    

This is Elvis' second huge album.    It sold in the millions.    It has the classic Elvis songs : 'Rip It Up', 'When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again', 'Long Tall Sally', and 'Reddy Teddy'.       This album is so good, that it's very hard to find in mint condition.      And this one is in amazing condition !!

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- /  Record is M

The cover is Mint minus.       There is not ring wear or cover wear on the front cover.       The back cover has a hint of cover wear.       The seams are amazing.      The only defect was a one inch seam split at top right, but it has been repaired ( not with tape ).     The corners are perfect, except for the bottom right corner, which has a tiny bump.       There are no bends, kinks, stains, or scratches on the cover at all.      There is no writing anywhere.    

The vinyl looks Mint and it plays Mint.    There are scuffs or tiny scratches at all.     The vinyl looks amazing with no marks of any kind.    The labels are clean with a few spindle marks, that are only noticeable when you look at an angle.  The record comes in a plain wax paper inner sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.    One sheet is 5/8 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard.   The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard.   Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 3 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 19 ounces ( 1 pound, 3 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and a email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.   I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number.   ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
