     Elvis was an American singer, musician, and actor.  He is referred to as  "The King of Rock and Roll".  His career began in 1954 at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee.  He had a rockabilly style with fusion of country music and rhythm and blues, and gospel.  Elvis became commercially successful in many genres, including movies.  He is a supreme figure with no comparisons.  Elvis Presley is one of the most recognized and famous people in the world!      "Elvis:  His Greatest Hits"  is a Readers Digest Collectors Edition 7-vinyl box set, released in 1983.  It is a seriously great compilation set of music from Elvis Presley.  The music is broken down into themes, which makes for a really nice listening experience.  Disc One:  Heartbreak Hotel - 1956 / Love Me Tender - 1956-57 Disc Two:  Jailhouse Rock - 1957 / Hard Headed Woman - 1958 Disc Three:  A Big Hunk o'Love - 1958-59 / Stuck On You - 1960 Disc Four:  Surrender - 1961 / Return To Sender - 1961-62 Disc Five:  Bossa Nova Baby - 1962-64 - Kissin' Cousins - 1964 Disc Six:  In The Ghetto - 1965-69 / Burning Love - 1970's Disc Seven,   Mystery Train - 1954-55 / I Really Don't Want To Know - Country Classics        Readers Digest Records,  #RDA-010/A.  The box is in excellent condition.  The seven vinyl are in near mint condition.  Thank you for looking.  (Grading Order:  Mint, Near Mint, Excellent, Very Good+, Very Good, Good, etc...)
