Description

The big RELAUNCH of ELVIS was '69. RCA would proceed to re-issue the back catalogue on the latest wave of interest. This is the RCA UK 1st press from 1970 of Volume 1. The material is all late 50's / early 60's. matrix 2E/2E. Nice shiny RCA labels with 'Stereo' at 12 o'clock - indicative of 1st issue. These '70 copies were pressed on solid vinyl. It comes housed in an original cover with original RCA inner sleeve. There's also a mahooosive high quality poster - which is looking very smart. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a coupe of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Really nice clean player. Minimal touch of back ground just very occasionally. Plays great - all the hits!
Cover (Ex) Lovely looking cover - deep blacks and little sign of wear or creasing. The rear seems to have avoided the usual process of ageing. Hardly any edge wear and sharp openings. Spine 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Lovely example.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. No splits.
POSTER (Ex+) Literally feels like new. Never been near a wall.
