Elvis Costello And The Attractions - Armed Forces
Original first U.K. pressing 12" vinyl LP Album with die-cut fold-out cruciform Sleeve and a Free 7" vinyl single E.P. 'Live At Hollywood High' and also includes 4 x postcards (62cm square).
Issued in a die-cut fold-out sleeve including four postcards and a 7" single 'Live At Hollywood High' which was only available as part of this package and not as a separate item in the UK. Initial copies had a red and yellow sticker stating: "FREE EP INSIDE" attached to the front cover. The packaging uses an ingenious cruciform design by an uncredited Barney Bubbles that can be folded in several alternative ways and even reversed to give a completely different front cover. The four postcards are cropped from the four corners of the complete square card, measuring approximately 62cm x 62cm.

CONDITION - This vinyl package has been owned since new - the 12" and 7" vinyl remains in near mint to excellent pristine condition. The fold-out cruciform sleeve is in near perfect shape - the only negative observation (VG+) is two price sticker label residue marks in the top right hand corner of the front cover - there are few light creases to the fold-out cover but nothing that detracts from the overall excellent (EX) appearance. The inner sleeves remain in near perfect shape as does the E.P. Cover - the label on the B Side of the E.P. shows bubbling from new. The four postcards remain in perfect mint condition (untouched). The vinyl package has been carefully stored away in a protective PVC sleeve.
