This is my personal copy of a promo that Stiff Records gave out in 1977 to help launch Elvis Costello’s career. I’ve taken very good care of it through the years, considering that it was already used when I bought it in 1981. The paper sleeve grades at NM, with only the slightest of corner wear and a few marks on the back. The record grades at VG+/Ex, with two tiny surface scratches. (Please see the photos for the exact condition of both the sleeve and the record.) The sound quality never was very good on this record, as it was pretty low-fi demos done off-the-cuff. But that’s part of its charm. The clear vinyl has yellowed some over the years, but the record is 44 years old now. It comes from a non-smoking home. 

*I’m selling off a lot of my vinyl and music memorabilia collection in order to pay a huge vet bill for my dog. No reasonable offers will be refused, but please try not to lowball me too badly. I’m being realistic about the market prices of everything that I list. (I used to work in a record store, and the prices I’m putting on these items are on the low side.)
