Description

Elvis Costello, Live At The El Mocambo, 1978, CanadianRadio demo record

'"Live At El Mocambo" - Broadcast live from the El Mocambo, Toronto on CHUM-FM and later released, exclusively by CBS as a Demonstration Record For Radio Station Airplay Only. This record provides a pretty good snapshot of the"live" Elvis Costello and The Attractions sound of early 1978.'
Broadcast live and recorded March 6th 1978.

This probably isn’t the Official Promotional Release as that can be identified by fine detail of CBS Logo on the bottom of rear cover. Tracks have clear separating gaps on vinyl & etched matrix has visible colon at end on both sides. Unfortunately this, very good copy, hasn’t the visible colons and maybe not the ‘CBS’ detail.

I was a record collector and I am only sellingrecords from my own personal vinyl collection, accumulated since theearly 1970s to the 1980's (I went over to CD's then). Most records have onlybeen played on decent turntables. Since CD's came along and, as a result, most records have only seen occasional play and have been extremely well lookedafter.

My records are all original pressings (1st, 2nd andsubsequent) from the 60s/70s/80s.

The sleeves vary in condition but most are verygood / excellent, just showing the usual signs of storage. Most have beenstored in plastic protective covers. I try my utmost to provide accuratedescriptions.

I separate the LP from the sleeve when packing topreclude any damage to the sleeve in transit.
