Description
Elvis Costello & The Attractions “Armed Forces”. Rare Original UK 1979 complete first pressing which includes the original inner picture sleeve, extra Bonus 7” EP, 4 large-size postcards, and the original fabulous Multi-Fold LP Jacket designed by Barney Bubbles with the original red/yellow hype sticker on the front. 1979 Radar Records RAD 14. Made in the United Kingdom. Out of print.
LP SLEEVE: No rips, seam-splits or tears. Crisp corners with extremely minor crinkles to a few that are only really noticeable upon close scrutiny. The design of this delicate sleeve was easily prone to damage but this one here is in beautiful, near pristine condition as if it was purchased at the record store in 1979. Simply stunning.
INNER SLEEVE: No seam-splits, rips or tears. Minor, faint crease on one corner (see pic)
VINYL: Nice, deep, rich and shiny gloss. If you were to tilt the vinyl at an angle against direct sunlight, some faint wispy hairline marks become barely detectable if the sunlight happens to catch it. So faint are they that they are extremely difficult to even photograph. These marks are pretty much undetectable under normal room light however (see the last collage picture for an example of how the mark is visible at an angle on the left picture but not visible on that exact same spot under normal room light).
POSTCARDS: No rips, tears or discoloration. They look as new.
7” EP SLEEVE: No rips, seam-splits or tears. Crisp corners. Looks as new.
7” EP VINYL: Near pristine. Looks hardly played.
