Description
Tumbleweed Connection, Elton John's third album, was a concept album based on country and western/Americana themes. It was released in 1970 and I bought my copy shortly after.
It is therefore a first UK pressing with the Catalogue number is DJLPS 410. It has the matrix numbers:
Side 1: DJLPS 410 A1
Side 2 DJLPS 410 B2
I recorded the album to tape immediately after purchase and it therefore has had very few plays. It has been stored vertically in my collection since I bought it. The vinyl is in excellent condition with virtually no scratches, marks or spindle marks. It plays superbly as new with hardly any surface noise. The front and back covers are in excellent condition with no sign of any creases or wear. They are printed on thick textured cardboard. The condition of the inside of the gatefold is also excellent and is made up of 6 sheets (12 sides) of lyrics and photos etc.. The spine is also in excellent condition, being clearly legible and unbroken along its whole length. The LP comes with its original paper polythene lined sleeve which is very clean, unmarked and has no splits or tears.
I am happy with local collection and I can post abroad if necessary, but please contact me first regarding postage costs. I have two other Elton John LPs for auction ("Honky Chateau" and "Friends") and will combine postage costs if any sold to the same bidder in the UK.
