Elton John “The Goaldiggers Song†S7 UK ONLY Rocket 45 GOALD 1 RARE RARE
You are bidding on an original release UK Rocket 7" vinyl (Knock out Center) 45 in Rocket Sleeve, by Elton John. The A side features 'The Goaldiggers Song'. The B side has 'Jimmy, Brian, Elton, & Eric'. This song was recorded in '77 to raise money for a football charity, hence has Jimmy Hill and Brian Moore on the B side. This charity single, was limited to 500 copies only. Some were personally autographed by Elton, this one is NOT signed by Elton.
The Single was presented to those who were at the dinner of Elton John`s Charity that was set up called "The Goaldiggers" back in the 70`s. This was presented at a special dinner held at the Dorchester Hotel in London on 30th May 1977. With this record comes A4 sheet with the official "Goaldiggers" emblem in the top right hand corner and the words "With thanks and appreciation from the Goaldiggers". This sheet has then been personally autographed by the 4 who made the record, Elton John, Brian Moore, Jimmy Cliff and Eric Morecombe. Also a 8 X 10 black and white picture of Elton is included.
