Description

Signed copy of Elton John's 1985 album 'Ice on Fire'. Signed in black ink lower right front cover. Album sleeve is as new, I have always kept it in a plastic LP cover (not photographed, but included). The inner lyrics sleeve has some faint spotting, visible in the photographs. I haven't played the vinyl in more than 20 years, but it is in excellent scratch free condition, and always played carefully when I did have a record player. No warping, see final photo.
I bought this in 1985 from HMV in Oxford Street whilst a student at London University. HMV used to have a fairly regular rota of album launches and signings. I remember meeting the Thompson Twins there. I didn't meet Elton John, and don't know if he made a personal appearance in the store or just signed the LPs.
