DCC got their start as a compact disc label, but in the mid-1990s, they briefly made high-quality audiophile LPs that are highly regarded today by audiophiles.  The company made their decision to enter the LP market at a time when records weren’t selling well, and their vinyl output was only available for a very short time.  DCC’s pressing of Madman Across the Water is generally regarded as one of the best-sounding, if not THE best-sounding, pressing of this album.

The copy of Madman Across the Water that’s offered for sale is one of those limited edition titles and was pressed on high quality 180 gram virgin vinyl.  Each of the copies were numbered; this is 1583.
