Description
Up for auction is the 12" vinyl LP All Across the Havens, a recording of Elton John live at the Hammersmith Odeon.
This is a very hard-to-find LP these days, my guess is this is a mid-70s issue, on black vinyl. The disc itself has no information or artwork other than "SIDE ONE" and "SIDE TWO" on the respective sides. I have partially played the disc and can verify it is the Elton John concert as expected.
The cover indicates that this is (probably a re-issue of) TAKRL 1946, on The Amazing Kornyphone Record Label, a famous name among record collectors! Note that the disc labels do not have the TAKRL logo - see pictures below.
The album is packaged in a shrinkwrapped white cardboard sleeve, inside of which is a three-colour insert with the song titles and artwork.

My research (and the cover) tells me that this recording is from 24th December 1974 at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, UK. The show was broadcast on BBC TV's Old Grey Whistle Test, a recording of which is probably the source of this disc.

ConditionThe plain album sleeve has minor corner creasing and a small split (4cm) at the top right. The shrinkwrap is partly missing. The insert is clean and unmarked, some minor creasing at the top right. The labels are clean, although there is a yellow sticker on side one (see pics).
The vinyl itself is in very good to excellent condition. Nice and shiny under light. I haven't played the disc all the way through, so I'm going by visual inspection. I skipped through a few songs and they sounded fine on my turntable.
